Westerberg’s concrete washbasin, handcrafted and featuring a unique, softly shaped design. Each piece is unique and the surface is vibrant with variations in colour. The inside and top of the washbasin are sealed to close the pores in the concrete, making it more stain-resistant. Natural pores may be visible on the outside of the washbasin.

Concrete is a rustic material with natural variations in colour and surface, the material ages when used. Treat the surface of your concrete wash basin regularly, you will find a remedy for concrete at well-stocked specialist retailers. The inside of the washbasin is sealed to close pores and make the surface more resistant to stains. Wipe of water drops with a soft cloth after use to avoid lime coating. If water is left standing in the basin, dark areas may occur which disappear after a few hours. Do not expose the washbasin to water with a temperature higher than 60 ° C or rapid temperature changes. Clean the washbasin with a damp cloth and possibly a little diluted detergent. Always use a soft cloth, avoid steel wool and the like. Avoid cleaners and products containing abrasives, acids, ammonia, acetone or other chemicals (eg scrubbing powder, hair spray, hair colour, bleach, hair removal and nail polish remover etc.). Should you spill any of the above products on the wash basin it should be removed immediately to avoid damage.
